EMDR is an innovative and evidence-based treatment originally focused on treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, but also has demonstrated efficacy in treating various forms of anxiety, depression, grief, and phobias.
EMDR promotes self-healing by accelerating the therapy process allowing the individual to live more fully in the present. EMDR can work in conjunction with other therapeutic modalities, such as play and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
